Douglas Kennedy, c'était mon second auteur préféré après John Irving. Et puis j'ai lu Temptation (et Until I find you de Irving, que j'ai du mal à finir). Et là, c'est carrément, the best of the best. Certes, ça ne vaut pas The Pursuit of Happiness, pour ceux qui l'ont lu, mais on retrouve là un Kennedy brillant.

Ce roman parle de succès, qui monte à la tête, de relations difficiles souvent influencées par l'ambition, et au fond, la rencontre avec un drôle de mégalomane qui se prend pour Dieu.
C'est intelligent, percutant, et une fois le livre ouvert, on ne peut le refermer ( j'ai lu un tiers du livre en une nuit).
